***New WESTERN pictures of April's Gold under School Horses For Sale***

Horse Heaven Stable has been in existence since 1993, opening originally in Bridgeville, PA.  In 1998, Gayle and Fred were able to purchase a stable near California, PA.  With access to Rt. 43, it is only 30 minutes from South Hills, Rt. 51, or Washington, PA.  The stable has continued to grow based on the quality of instruction and care to their horses.  As a "B" rated member of the U.S. Pony Club, the instructional program is closely integrated with horse care at all phases.

For without the horse, there can be no horsemanship.

As we approach November we will be gearing up to announce the recipient of this years
2011
Equestrian of the Year Award

This year I had two candidates, both equally deserving of the award, so I awarded 2011 and 2012. Next year we will award 2013 at the end of 2012.

2011
Equestrian of the Year Award

Ashley McIntosh

Ashley and her family have been with us for five or more years. Her mom received the 2008 Award. Ashley, like all the other squirts, started on Sugar. She quickly moved on to ride all the ponies and has been a big help when it comes time to put the young ones under saddle. Her first love was helping me with Tantrum and they've been "Two peas in a pod" ever since. There is nothing she will not ride for me.

2012
Equestrian of the Year Award
Marissa Filby
Marissa and her family have only been with us a couple of years. Her perseverance in everything she does has gotten her this award so quickly. She started out with a week of summer camp after only a few lessons and she has been going strong ever since. She is very careful with her goals and will not be talked into something she is not ready for. A real sign of maturity. She has recently challenged herself with learning new horses and her jumping ability is soaring. She even likes trail riding with us old folks.
